Mission Statement:
USC Annual Giving partners with every school's Annual Giving Council to spotlight the Dean's Communicate initiative. Video messages from school deans paired with details on what each school is raising funds for. It's a way to give donors a direct, personal connection between their support and the priorities of the school they care about.

The Goal:
Redesign the Dean's Communicate experience on [DonorEngage Pro], our CMS platform, to give each school's video and fundraising priorities a cleaner, more modern presentation. I designed a new mockup to showcase how the videos and supporting content could come together in a more polished, donor-friendly format.
The Old Platform
The Dean's Communique videos previously lived on GiveSmart, a third-party platform not built for this kind of storytelling. Each page paired a basic video player with a long, dense block of text, mission messaging, program highlights, and the giving ask all run together with little visual hierarchy, and generic boilerplate sections were reused across schools. The result gave donors no easy way to scan the content or connect with the ask, making the case for a redesign on Donor Engage Pro.

Web Wireframe
I built a low-fidelity wireframe to rework how each dean's video, school messaging, and giving ask would be structured on the page. This gave me a clear foundation for prioritizing content and hierarchy before moving into high-fidelity design.

Front-End Development
I worked with our CMS vendor to implement a new hero/header banner layout featuring the school's name, a quote from the dean, the dean's video, and a stewardship donor section — messaging and branding that was missing entirely on the old platform, where visitors landed with no clear sense of which school's page they were on. Rather than working from static mockups, I went straight into the CMS platform to build a high-fidelity prototype. To showcase all the fund categories, I designed a one-row, three-column layout that kept the page clean and concise.
